Clare Sarah Johnson is an Australian entrepreneur and performance consultant, known for her passion for the humanisation of business. She is the co-founder of Berlin based creative leadership firm Romero & Johnson, and works with individuals, teams and organisations to level-up their performance and wellbeing using the peak mental state of Flow.
Fascinated by the relationship between meaning, purpose and creativity, in 2016 Clare undertook a Doctorate in Business Leadership. This sparked her obsession with the science of peak performance and marked the beginning of a deep dive into a new form of leadership practice. One designed to train states of mind (rather than skills), develop exponential thinking, and nurture enhanced emotional capacity. One designed for leaders of tomorrow.
Clare’s work and research is influenced by the thought leadership of Nichol Bradford, Steven Kotler, Michael Gervais, Carol Dweck, Robert Sapolski and Martin Seligman. Not to mention Nick Cave, Patti Smith and Leonard Cohen.
Clare has extensive experience working for corporates, not-for-profits, arts institutions, start-ups, universities and high-performing leaders.In 2010 she founded Australian brand agency Tinderbox Creative, and more recently spent time in Europe advising ICOs on brand differentiation for emerging technologies.
Clare is a certified Flow Coach trained by the Flow Genome Project and speaks and lectures on the topics of Flow for peak performance & optimal well-being, preparing organisations for 2030 and beyond, developing higher levels of cognitive and emotional intelligence, developing exponential mindsets and training for resilience, grit and motivation.
