Summit Facilitator
A master at listening and finding gold in any conversation, Lara will be our event facilitator. She will guide us and elegantly weave the messages of each presenter together to help you get the most from the summit.
Lara is a 15-year coaching veteran, with chops as a software developer who just released her first fiction novel titled The Healing Gem of Arcadia. Her inspiration for pushing the envelope comes from years of training with elite performers, exploring curiosities of intuition, and diving deep with heart felt connections. She can be found on the beach, writing, developing software, leading groups, hosting podcasts and laughing with friends and family. |
Building Better Relationships
We set the scene of the Summit with a fireside chat with Erica Peng. Drawing on her experience and wisdom she will help you understand why a large proportion of society are feeling disconnected from their work and each other and the flow on effects of our disconnected lives. She will show you what you can do right now to reignite trust and deeper emotional connection in your professional and personal relationships.
Erica Peng has guided over 1000 social entrepreneurs, change agents, MBA and Executive Education students through a transformative process that equips leaders with skills – and awareness – essential for fostering trust and emotional connection while navigating inevitable challenges involving conflict and polarization. Diversity and power dynamics. Increasing uncertainty and upheaval. Global crises. So they can get on with what’s most important: Accomplish shared purpose and create possibility together amidst the most de-stabilizing conditions of our time. Erica’s leadership development methodology, Designed For Connection, synthesizes neuroscience, systems thinking, social identity, interpersonal and group dynamics, and experiential learning. The cornerstone is The Peng Process, a curated progression of structured individual and interpersonal practices that guides leaders through many repetitions of “learning by doing.” Her course, “Interpersonal Skills and Embodied Leadership,” is one of the most in-demand at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. |

Mindfulness
Discover how to use mindfulness as a practice to bring attention to present moment experiences without judgement as Jaleel introduces us to the insight tradition which has 4 foundations of mindfulness: body, emotions, thoughts, mental phenomenon and how in this attention economy, your awareness is currency and mindfulness, as a framework, can equip you with the skills to decide where to spend your awareness.
Jaleel is on an endless journey of self-discovery, and he's building community with others along the way. His north star is the belief that self-discovery and a whole lot of self-compassion are key to creating a cooperative world committed to engineering a solution for any number of the crises we face today. When he's not leading a mental health technology sales team, he's writing, facilitating breathwork, teaching meditation classes and speaking about the relationship between optimal performance and holistic well-being. |
